ELLEN SMYTH
A mathematician by training and trade, Ellen has no formal seminary experience. She has one Teacher, one Rabbi, and he has taught her all things.
God has shaken Ellen to her very core by showing her secrets in the Word concerning the end. She would love to share such things with you.
Southern Baptist born and raised, Ellen strives to be simply a disciple of Christ abiding in his Word. Her wildest hope would be to finish this race as firstborn, to inherit an outrageous portion of his Spirit, and to bring many millions with her.

EXTENDED BIO
Ellen Smyth earned her bachelor's in civil engineering and master's in mathematics from Tennessee Technological University. Her thesis professor, Dr. Breen, challenged Ellen to find a math problem that had never before been solved and then solve it. Ellen met this challenge with a problem in cryptography, the science of secret codes.
Ellen and her husband Thomas moved to historic Fredericksburg, Virginia, where she worked on various technologies at the Naval Surface Warfare Center in Dahlgren. Dahlgren was once home to the world's fastest computer, the first supercomputer. After discovering computer errors in 1945, Grace Hopper found a moth trapped inside: the first documented computer bug.
Ellen and Thomas returned home to Tennessee to raise their children, both working for the local college. As part of the mathematics faculty, Ellen has become particularly fascinated with online learning and technology.
A huge fan of epic fantasy, Ellen wanted to fall in love with the Word of God in much the same way, even more, if possible. And she did, indeed! But Ellen first needed a guide to understand the Word. God sent her Chuck Missler.
Ellen first met Chuck through his rapture video, where he quoted Richard Feynman in the first five minutes. Ellen paused the video and immediately searched Missler's background. What kind of preacher knows Feynman, much less quotes him?!
With an extensive background in engineering and mathematics and a love for secret codes and the mysteries of the Bible, Ellen had found her kindred spirit. No one could love the Word of God more than Chuck; his love was contagious. Ellen devoured hundreds of hours of Chuck's verse-by-verse commentary on the 66 books of the Bible, learning to love God and his Word.
